More later model bits

Along with the column cover for the other Alto, I order a ‘upper class lazy lever’ for this one. The standard CM11V only has tailgate latching, this one has fuel as well.
Will have to modify the fuel door and mount obviously to fit.

Plates

Much better 😀

Bar’d up

Newer model bumper has arrived from Japan, again via Streeter

The next model after the CM11V was with the new Kei specification, allowing an extra 100mm in the body length. Suzuki decided to put this entirely in the front and rear bumpers.
This bumper with combo lights + shipping was around the same price as getting 2x combo lights shipped separately from the auctions.

Later on I found out that as well as changing the combo light mounting, they also extended the bonnet.

Fresh powder

Engine mounting brackets dropped in to powder coaters (after 2 attempts at painting them myself), as well as a few other brackets around the bay.
May attempt to put engine and gbox together on as much subframe as I can outside the shell.

Update

Need to replace a Rack end (inner tie rod), had a nice long look under the car and seems like its a engine out process:censored: :censored:

Fixed the broken fuel gauge.. by swapping the section out of another cluster.
